  • What should I do if my bin is damaged or stolen?

    In the event of damage to or theft of your bin, we ask that you inform our customer service team promptly. We'll take swift action to address the situation and ensure you have a functional bin for your waste management needs.
  • How do I start or stop waste collection service?

    To initiate service, you can easily sign up through our website. We'll deliver your bins on the next business day. To discontinue service, please inform our customer service team at least seven days in advance.

  • When should I put my trash out?

    To ensure your waste is collected as scheduled, we recommend placing your bins outside the night before your designated pickup day. This practice helps prevent any potential missed collections.
  • What do I do with large items that don't fit in my bin?

    For oversized items such as furniture, appliances, or yard waste, please request an estimate from La Mela's Sanitation Service to arrange a special collection. We'll provide a quote based on the type and quantity of items. Alternatively, you may have the option to bring certain items directly to our facility, potentially utilizing our scale service at no cost or at a reduced rate.

  • How do I report a missed collection?

    Please report any missed collections within 24 hours. If we verify that the missed pickup was due to an error on our part, we'll return to collect your waste within one business day at no additional cost to you.
